Installation precautions for EAS AM acoustic magnetic anti-theft antennas

Installation precautions for EAS AM systems

1. 220V alternating current

All acoustic magnetic anti-theft antennas use 220V AC power, and the neutral wire and the front wire must be in the same position (left neutral wire and right front wire). A safety grounding wire (from the distribution box) must be provided, and the grounding must be good.(During the test, the front wire and the safety ground are also 220V AC.)

The selection of the front line should be the one that is not connected to the power supply for the equipment and is in line with the lighting power.

Power provided by UPS and generators cannot be used.

2. Before installing and wiring the equipment, it should be tested to ensure there are no issues during the test before installation.

3. Software debugging

Before debugging the software, set the acceptance flexibility potentiometer inside the chassis first. The usual setup is to aim a small hammer at the empty center position of the antenna, and a response interval of 1.2 to 1.4 meters is sufficient. For any antenna that has not been tested, the receiving coil can be short-circuited to ensure that the antenna that is not in operation does not cause interference.

The above suggestions are all aggressive installation intervals designed considering the relatively complex on-site environment.

4. Requests for the on-site environment

Large metal objects should be separated by about 1 meter

b. Electronic fluorescent lamps should be separated by about 4 to 5 meters

c. Large electrical equipment should be separated by about 3 to 5 meters

d. The display screens should be separated by about 2 to 3 meters

e. They should be about 5 to 8 meters apart from the induction cooker

5. Install the antenna program

a. Select the location of the AC power socket properly to ensure that the distance from the main unit to the antenna does not exceed 10 meters. When installing the main unit at multiple locations, it is necessary to ensure that the power supply is divergent (on the same front line, the neutral line and the front line are in the same position, that is, the left neutral line and the right front line, and there must be a safe grounding). The demagnetizer should also be kept away from the power supply of the antenna.

b. If it is a pre-buried wire, it should be ensured that each antenna can be run through a separate pipeline.

c. Do not rush to install the antenna in the air. First, power it on to test the antenna. After the test is qualified, proceed with the installation. If the test fails, please look for the reason.

d. Please be sure to connect the wires in accordance with the requirements of the wiring diagram rules. Do not connect them wrongly and make sure the wires are firmly connected.

e. After the antenna is powered on, first use the hard tag to debug the acceptance flexibility (adjust the RX potentiometer on the main unit), ensuring that the hard tag can alarm 1.4 meters away from the antenna in the X-axis direction.

f. Connect the software debugging tool and use the software to adjust the antenna to a better position.(Anti-interference and flexibility)

g. Try to remove the extra lines as much as possible.

h. If the Phaseshift of the antenna changes, the demagnetizer must also change its phase and align with the antenna
